The Recreation Committee of
the University Union sponsors its
first camping trip of the year Nov.
12-14. Campers will leave Friday,
at 2 p.m. for Myrtle Beach State
Park.
The charge is $4, which will
cover food and expenses. In
ierested persons may sign up in
room 204 of Russell House. There is
a mandatory meeting for all going
on Tuesday night at 8 p.m., Russell
House 321.
"Watch for bike trips, camping
trips to the mountains and other
events next semester," a
spokesman for the committee said.
"We have the money and the
equipment, all we need is you."

Student leaders from colleges
and universities throughout South
Carolina will meet in Columbia
Sunday to discuss plans for the
South Carolina Public Interest
Research Group (SCPIRG.)
The meeting comes after a
statewide barnstorming tour of 17
S.C. colleges and universities by
one of (Ralph) Nader's Raiders,
Dr. Joe Highland.
All interested persons are in
vited to attend the Sunday meeting
at 3 p.m. in room 310 of Russell
House.
