have been elected co-captains of
the 1971-72 Gamecock varsity
baskeiball squad.

young men, as students, players
and leaders." said McGuire in

Coliseum. "We couldn't have made
a better choice and our staff is
confident both Rick and Bob will
supply the leadership our squad
will need in facing the tough
schedule we have ahead of us this

and our record shows how much
they contributed" said McGuire,
whose last three Gamecock
squads have been 69-16 and the
