"You're a Good Man Charlie
Brown," to be presented Oct. 13-16,
is the USC Theatre's first
production.
The Charles Shultz characters
will depict a day in the life of
Charlie Brown.
Department chairman Russell
Green, and director of Charlie
Brown said that during the play's
two-week run at Myrtle Beach this
summer, it was the only play that
has ever broken even at USC.
He said children enjoy the

them and that "it's really an adult
play and not really for children."
Charlie Brown will be portrayed
by Jim Cox, a graduate student
from Appalachian State University

Jim Blanton. a graduate student
from Gaffney who is perhaps best
known for his part of Cornelius
Hackle in "Hello Dolly," plays
the part of Snoopy.
The role of Patty will be played
by Judy Howle, a transfer student
from Presbytarian College.
