Clemson.
Rich SWrin won the discus with a
heave of 144'-1" and was followed
by Privette of Carolina with a toss
of 133'-8". Jim Poston of the
Gamecocks won the shot put with a
4-6 effort.
Tony Callander won the high
jump with a jump of 6-3 and
Haggard took third with 6-0. Jim
Scott won the pole vault with a 14-6
vault and Brian Hyder took third
with 13-6.
Ron Hader took a close second to
Moon of Clemson with his best
bread jump of 22-1., and also took
third in the triple jump. Alan Hall
or Carolina took a third in the high
hurdles and a second in the in
termediates, Sammy Gibson
rounded out the Gamecocks
scoring with a 49-9 second place in
the 440.

guards for Coach Barry Strumpf,
who led Maxcy to the Independent

The Fraternity team will have
Pi Ka coach Buddy Reams at the
helm. Reams led the PiKas to the
Fraternity and Campus cham
pionships. The Frats will start
Gregg Blatt of Kappa Alpha and
Bobby Heald of PiKa at the guards
and Fisher and Bobby Temple of
SAE at the forward spots. Chip
Price. also of SAE, will man the
center position.
The second team includes
George Gulden of ATO, Jeff Dillion
or Phi Kappa Sigma, Ron Coleman
or ATO. Ronnie Rhoades of Pi
