If the accused is found guilty by a 2/3 vote of the Student Senate present and voting, he is to be declared by the presiding officer to no longer be entitled to use the title or execute the duties of the office from which he has been impeached. This drive, The United In stitute of Technology Book Drive, needs books in the fields of science and mathematics that were printed after 1965. Books in the humanities are also being accepted. Virginia McMillan, In ternational Committee chairman, said, "Since technology changes so rapidly books before 1965 are prac tically useless. If the students find they have no need for technological literature, which includes paperbacks and periodicals, at least of series of 12 copies, or cannot sell them back to the book stores, please donate them to the drive." Evans of Columbia and Richard F. Nance of Charleston, both seniors , have been recom mended for fellowships to the graduate schools of their choosing under the prestigious Wilson program. Evans is majoring in the classics at Carolina while Nance is a student of history. Another senior, Mrs. Paula C. USC, the only college in volved in the book drive, is working closely with seven other collection centers to gather as many volumes as possible for shipment to Biafra. According to Connie Coyne, the book drive chairman, Carolina's goal is 1,000 books with a deadline in June of this year. The Undergraduate Library and McKissick will assist the United Institute of Technology Book Drive along with various University department heads. TEACH-IN There will be a meeting of the Environmental Teach-In Comniittee Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Commons Room (Golden Spur) of the Russell House.
