Hodge
Two students have announced
their candidacy for treasurer of
the student body, a position now
held by Barry Knobel of Anderson
Competing to fill the soon-to
be-vacated spot are Jay E. Hodge
Jr. of Cheraw and Carlton Larmor
of Columbia.
Hodge, a rising junior and a
journalism major, is a former vice
president of the freshman class
With a cognate in political science
Hodge also was a member of the
State Democratic Steering Com
mittee and was state chairman of
the Humphrey youth organization
during the 1968 presidential cam
paign.
Formerly a delegate to the State
Student Legislature, Hodge serves
on the Men's Judicial Council.
