Which is another way of saying a chan'ce

At Western Electric we give our newly

"We are to report the facts, not
create them," advised Joe Petty,
WIS-TV newsmen, during a Tues
day discussion of the role of the
modern broadcaster.
He noted in a speech to a meet
ing of the University Broadcasting
Guild that some reporters are con
stantly making major situations
out of minor ones. "The news in
dustry is growing up and has many
new jobs, but there is no place for
poorly staffed news organizations
which rely on sensationalism," he
said.
