The Gamecock and WUSC has a
bone to pick with the track team.
It was one thing when the en
tire track team, dressed in tee
shirts and bermudas, sat in the hall
of the Thomas Hotel in Gainsville
this weekend peering into a Wed
ding Party. But we have the in
side dopes. Bobby and Algie, did
you have to crash that party with
our press cards?
Tasteful interior decorators can
do a lot to improve the decor of
dormitory rooms. Just ask the
residents of Preston, whose room
is adorned with approximately
140 liquor bottles - everything
from a 79f quart of grape wine to
a $5.85 pint of Wild Turkey Bur
bon.
If that will not satisfy any red
blooded USC student's Mom, then
maybe it would be a good plan
to mention the 90-foot poptop
chain that is linked twice around
the room (we figure about 12 pop
tops per foot).
