UNC Tar Heels last Saturday in
Chapel Hill.
ITSC's Hill "Breezy" Muller was
the afternoon's only double winner,
taking first place in the 200-yard
individual medley and the 200-yard
breaststroke. Second place in the
two events was won by ''Breezy's'
teammate, John White.

urday when it takes on the Mary
land Terrapins in College Park.
The Gamecocks will go into the
game after a ten-day layoff follow
ing their season-opening, 87-57 vic
tory over Erskine.
Duke
Carolina was originally scheduled
.o play the Duke Blue Devils in Dur
ham last Monday night, but Duke
officials requested that the game
he played at a later date.
In Maryland, the Gamecocks will
be facing a team which posted a
14-11 overall record last year and
was 7-7 in the conference.
The Terrapins, however, lost five
lettermen from that squad includ
ing Gary Ward, who had a 17.2
scoring average. Neil Brayton, whc
hit at a 10.3 clip, and Rick Wise
who averaged 8.5 points.

Coach Bud Millikan, who is in
'his 17th season at Maryland says
his team is ''small in comparvon to
most of our opponents. We will
have to make up for this with extra
effort and determination."
