Life At The

By LYNN BOWLES

Vertigo is not a very pleasant
sensation to experience but, it is a
very common one for the inhabi
tants of the higher floors in South
Tower, the highest building on
our campus.
It is not unusual to hear a
group of girls ta1king around cam -
pus about life in South Tower.
l'reiient remarks such as "YIIu
couln't pay me to live up at the
top" caII he heard as some memni
hers (of the group defend the life
at the top and others deride it.

imaginable is often ex perienced
by dwvullers of South Tower during
the windy roonths in the winter
time. Wvhen the wind gets to blow
ing hard e n o u g h1, one canl feel
(or imagine she feels) the building
gently weaving to and fro. This
illusion is substantially fortified
when- the inhabitant of the dorm
looks out her window and sees the
landscape below slowly moving to
the left and then retracing its path
to the right.
