"I run a tight ship," said
Father David Watkins of the Epis

Father Watkins' ship is one of
seven religious centers provided
for students of the Carolina Com

The Episcopal clergyman stated
that his is a "teaching ministry"
in which he seeks to give students

their most basic needs."
Formerly a pre-medical student
at Kenyon College in Ohio. Father
Watkins recalled that he was often
disappointed with answers church
men gave him as a student.
Presently Father Watkins is
planning a discussion on the book
"Background and Marriage."
Also underway at the Epis
copal center is what Father Wat
kins calls "Inquirer's Class" to
inform attendants what the church
teaches.
Father Watkins concluded that
he loves his work, "the convincing,
selling persuading and the intel
lectual exchange."
