Dr. Archer Jones, head of the department of history and politi cal science at V11 since 1961, was appointed to fill the upper level vacancy created in an administra tive shuffle last spring. Dr. Jones was graduated "sum ma cum laude" from Hampden Sydney College in Virginia. Rushing for the first time on the USC campus this year is the national sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma. The Kappa Room will be located on the South end of Wade Hampton Residence Hall. GEORGIA IUSHERS Kappas from the University of Georgia will conduct rush for the charter members of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Carolina. Marsha Love, a Kappa from Florida, and two national officers will help colonize the Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter at USC. The colony hopes to become a recog nized chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma in the spring of 1967. Sorority rush officially began WednesdaY with a meeting of all sorority girls. A campus-wide drop-in was held Thursday in the eight USC sorority rooms. COKE PARTY A Coke Party will be sponsored by Panhellenic Council Friday afternomn for all girls interested ..............
