anniversary of their founding to
night with the annual medallion
ball and birthday banquet.
The affair, to be held at Column
bla Country Club, will begin with
a social hour at 5:30 for brothers,
parents, and invited guests only.
Supplying entertainment for the
event will be the Manhattans.
Rock Hill Attorney David A.
White is the g u e s t banquet
speaker. A former president of
the Carolina student body and head
of the Chi Psi Alpha at USC,
White will speak on "How Being a
Fraternity Man will Help In the
Future."

Mary Wells, famed vocalist of
popular music, will be entertaining
at a dance in South Cafeteria to
night under the sponsorship of
Men's Towers Government.
Beginning at 8 p.m., the in
formal dance will also include en
tertainment by the Sensational
Epics combo.
Men residing in the Towers
dormitories receive free tickets to
attend the occasion, but no tickets
will be on sale on a campus-wide
basis.
Each ticket held by a boy admits
him and his date.
Invitations and tickets have also
been extended to girls in South
dormitory. Officers of the Towers
government explained that since
they expect the (lance to be at
tended by a number of stag boys,
they hope that girls will also at
tend unescorted.
Tonight's (lance is the third so
cial sponsored by the Men's Tow
ers Dormitory Government this
semester. It is the first to include
a widely acclaimed professional
performer.
