Inter-Fraternity,
Greek
After several years of discon
tinuation, Greek Week will be re
sumed this spring and will be held
May 3 through 7, according to an
announcement by a special Greek
Week committee.
"The Greek System: Stumbling
Block or Stepping Stone" is the
theme for this year's discussions.
The week-long activities are the
joint project of ie Inter-fraternity
and Panhellenic councils.
Kick-off speeches will be made

residence councilor, and Mrs. Mc
Queen, and James Cooper, direc
tor of men's housing, and Mrs.
Cooper.
Encouraged by the acceptance
of the Saturday dance, Triumvirate
1'resident Eldon Armstrong has
expressed the hope that the gov
ernment may sponsor another

maximum attendance by interested
individuals.
Present plans include fraternity

cussions on changing values on the i
college campus.

Sigma Nu fraternity's "Little
500" will be another highlight of
the 1966 Greek Week. Tentative
plans call for the races to take
place at Davis Field on the after
noon of Friday, May 6.
A Friday night concert by the
Platters, well - known recording
artists, will be held at Township
Auditorium. The Majors will en
tertain at a Saturday dance, also
at Township.
Specially formed to include fra
ternity and sorority representa
tives, the Greek Week Committee,
is headed by Ed Tucker of Alpha
Tau Omega fraternity.
Plans for the awards banquet
were steered by Gary Poliakoff of
Phi Epsilon Pi and Donna Below
of Delta Zeta. Poliakoff is also
acting treasurer of the committee.
