will speak to several campus
groups on European politics, espe
cially those of the USSR.
Eddy Gilmore, currently work
ing out of the AP London office,
will address the students in the
School of Journalism and depart
ments of international relations,
political science, and history to
(lay.
Gilmore's lecture at the School
of Journalism will be at 10 a.m.
preceded by coffee at 9:30. An
informal discussion will be held
following this lecture. The school
will host a drop-in at 11 a.m.
At 3 p.m. today he will
meet with all Interested students
in an informal discussion at the
department of international rela
tions.

State-Record Center, to commemo
rate the sinking of the USS Rust
bucket.
Midshipmen are urged to wear
appropriate costumes. A prize
will be awarded to the best cos
tumed couple. In addition, a prize
will be awarded to "the girl you'd
most like to be shipwrecked with."

special activities for this week.
The Methodist Student Union
will host a supper and evening
program Sunday to enable inter
ested students to "Meet the Wes
leyans."
Beginning at 6 p.m., the supper
will cost 50 cents per person.
Travis Medlock, legislative repre
sentative of Richland County,
will speak on "Politics and Reli
gion."
Tuesday afternoon, the Wesley
ans will further their hospitality
campaign with a luncheon. Reser
vations must be made in advance
by phoning 252-8262. Admission
will be 75 cents.
Both events will be held at Wes
ley Foundation, 728 Pickens St.,
and both are open to the public.
"Listen, God Speaks" will be the
theme this weekend for a fresh.

through Sunday. Casual clothes
will be in order, as the retreat will
take place at the R. G. Bell Camp.
