$10 Million Prc Expandir By CAROL MULLNAX Staff Writer Carolina students pass Russell House by the thousands every day, and no doubt they have noticed the new extension presently under construction. But how many know the fiscal story behind such construction? The man with the answers in this case turned out to be Dean of Ad ministration Harold Brunton. His explanation is based on the Uni versity's system of administrative research, appropriations, and over all expansion program. In this year alone, $10 million of construction is being undertaken, and contrary to the consensus, only a small per cent of the money comes from state appropriated funds. Construction projects at Caro lina, Brunton said, may be divided into three general types: academic administrative - general; residence halls; and srecial projects.
