DeIar:
Dear Lisa:
For weeks now I have been
watching this lovely young man
in my history class. There are
many fine things about him that
appeal to me such as his wisdom
about things historical. He sits
one row over and one seat behind
me. I am actually rather nice
looking and my clothes conform
to the most reliable standards. Of
course, I am quite charming and
my vocabulary is definitely full
of the latest colloquialisms. Why
I hasn't this delightful young man
noticed me? Could there be any
thing wrong with me?

Dear Snowed:
Perhaps if you studied your his
tory with a great deal of concen
tration and truly learned your as
signments this young man would
ask you about the work. An even i
better suggestion is to check on )
the effectiveness of your deodor- I

Dear Lisa:
You have exhibited an essential

Desperate
Dear Desperate:
Are you sure this young man
is not a figment of your imagina
tion?
Dear Lisa:
Now I have been at this institu
tion for three weeks and I am in
a h o r r i b l e predicament. My
courses are all fine. I have some
of the better instructors and I
succeeded in avoiding the Smiths.
Believe it or not I have been
studying with a great deal of per
ception and introspection. Perhaps
I will be able to get some good
grades then I can have unlimited
cuts-I can not tolerate this com
pulsory attendance - and having
to get us for an 8 o'clock class is
absolutely killing. But this is not
my problem. I am very interested
in a specimen of insectepedin
which is native to this part of the
country - I came down h ?re so
that I could continue my research.
[ have not been able to find any
one willing to help me with cer
tain aspects of this research.
Could you possibly tell me who
I should seek for aid. Oh, I am
interested in the boll weevil, by
its common name.
Researcher
Dear Researcher:
Perhaps you should seek aid
from the faculty at Clemson Col
