WUSC Radio
Wants Coeds
To Announce
WUSC wants to start a Co-ed
On Campus news show. This new
and exciting program will feature
news of interest for Carolina
women. For once the programming
will be entirely in the hands of
the girls.
A female announcer will be se
lected from girls who wish to
audition for the top position on
this new show. The so-called editor
3f Co-ed On Campus will hold a
position similar to that of the
society editor of a newspaper. She
will be responsible for gatiering
the latest gossip and points of in
terest for our co-eds.
Any co-ed who wishes to submit
her name before the selection com
mittee may do so by dropping by
Room 207 of the Russell House.
Once the program gets underway
it will be under the control of
news director Larry Stangle.
In case some of you aspiring
:o-eds are afraid that the radio
station is not the place for a
woman, then just take a look al
the number of girls we have on
ur staff.
THIS AGE
By Jacqueline Lee Davir
This is the age
Of the half-read page
And the quick hash
And the mad dash,
The bright night
With the nerves tight.
The plane hop
And the brief stop.
The lamp tan
In a short span.
The big shot
In a good spot.
And the brain strain
And the heart pain.
And the cat naps
Till the spring snaps
And the fun's done.
