Among the divisions being of fered are singing, dancing, combos, monologues, and dance bands. Prizes of $75, $50, and $25 will be awarded to the best talent de :ided upon by the judges. Scholarships Now Offered To Students Over $28,000 worth of scholar ihips and $250,000 in loans are available to eligible Carolina stu lents, assistant Dean of Students Charles Behling announced this week. The scholarships and loans are ivailable to all students who appl1 md are scholastically eligible. To be considered for a scholarship a student's academc record should be at least a "B." Students apply ng for loans should have at least a 3.00 grade point ratio. Application blanks and informa tion on loans and scholarships may be obtained from the Dean f Students office. The deadline for scholarship applications is April 15. A listing of the scholarships ivailable this year can be obtained from the Dean of Students office. The section would be one in vhich minimum preparation would e necessary. Each seat would be irovided with a packet of cards md an instruction sheet before he games. The head cheerleader vould then call out the number if the formation and each seat vould have a card numbered cor -espondingly. It has been noted that, with ome cooperation from the stu lents, such card sections will worl: rery well and will also help to urther instill spirit in the cheer ng sections.
