The sorority girls on the campus are no exception to the rule. The ADPi's have a new look in serv ice projects this spring with their i penny-a-day program. The girls save a penny a day for the soror ity's project fund. The Chi O's have the Easter spirit already for they are plan ning an Easter Egg Hunt. The I hunt is to take place on the Horse- I shoe partially roped off for safety. The Egg Hunt will be held for the youngsters at Carolina Chil dren's Home. The Tri Delts have a scholar- J ship fund that materialized this spring. The scholarship is given in honor of Margaret Ashe. C Carville Institute and Gallaudet t College, a college for deaf stu- s dents, receive contributions from the DZ's on this campus. The f DZ's all over the nation contribute - to the advancement of three schools. The KD's have a year-round project. Two girls from the soror ity go to the State Mental Hos pital every Monday. The girls serve as aides to the staff. This serves as a benefit to the hospital, to the patients, and to the girls themselves. t The ZTA's are collecting old clothes from members of the soror- t ities. The project is called the f Self-Help Clothing for the Handi capped. This, too is part of a na tional drive. The Pi Phi's seem to have a bit of mystery connected with their project, for the final plans have not been unveiled as yet. From this article, you can see that the "activity bug" has really bitten the sorority girls on this campus. These service projects are just a part of the usual func tions of a sorority but it is these things for which the girls are I remembered by many people.
