Dear Editor:
As Chairman of the Elections
Committee, may I use this means
to express my appreciation to all
those who worked so hard to make
the recent elections a success.
Dean Tomlin and Bobby D)obson
wvere always willing to assist and1
advise us, and their office staff
was also very kind to us. Mrs.
Hornsby and Mrs. Castles were
especially helpful.
We owe appreciation to the
Deans of the Schools and other
members of the Administration
and Faculty who helped us make
arrangements for the elections.
University Press was very co..

University's academic standing.
Conversely there are those who
would, if indeed they could, lower
entrance and eligibility require

be able to meet the ante and get
a little more money in the pot.
Both sides are fools. And I defy
the wrath of hell-fire and damna

neither side as a brother.
Some say that our University is
on the verge of greatness. Hell, I
say we're already there. And it's
time we realized that we're better
than anybody else, even the ones
that can spend money like
Harvard, put out professors like
Vanderbilt, or win basketball
games like Ohio State.
Of course, we can stand im

This place is getting harder to
