Fare I ek Cal Independents May Purchase Block Tickets For the first time, a limited number of Greek Week block tickets will go on sale for inde pendents. The tickets, costing $10, cover the concert and the formal and informal dances, scheduled for March 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The tickets will go on sale Monday, February 26, in the downstairs Russell House lobby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone interested may contact Ocie Self, chairman of ticket sales. Entertaining at the Thursday night concert will be the Four Lads. Clyde McPhatter will be the vocalist for Friday night's formal dance. The Crests and a group to be announced will fur nish music for the informal dance Saturday night. Five Festive Nights Five nights of festivity mark the annual Greek Week, spon sored by the Interfraternity Council. Dress for this event will be semi-formal. Popular Quartet The quartet which is com posed of Frank Busseri, Bernie Toorish, Connie Codarini and Jimmy Arnold, have made sev eral top hit recordings and have appeared on many television shows. Clyde McPhatter will furnish the entertainment for Friday's formal dance. It will be held in Township Auditorium at 8 p.m. Boys are to wear tux; girls, formal dresses. Concluding the week's festivi ties will be an informal dance Saturday at 8 p.m. at Township Auditjium. Scheduled entertain ment includes The Crests, and one other group to be chosen. The Olympics, Gladys Knight and The Pips, and The Sensa tions are being considered for the second group, according to Charlie Bradshaw, entertain ment chairman. Dress for this event will be skirts and sweaters for girls and coats and ties for boys. Chape rones for both dances will be announced later. KSK Offers Chances For Weal Tickets Kappa Sigma Kappa, honor eric fraternity, is offering arolina students a chance to win board plan meal ticket for the ntire spring semester. Two meal tickets, each worth 175, are being given away. They rere donated to KSK by Slater ystem. Students may obtain chances for wenty-five cents from any KSK 1ember. They will also be on sale i Russell House lobby from 2-5 .m. next week. Winners will be announced Mon ay, Feb. 19. Air Force Viitary Ball Re-Scheduled The annual Air Force ROTC nid-winter military ball has been -e-scheduled for Feb. 28. A spokesman for the Arnold Air society, sponsor of the event, said hat the two-week postponement esulted from a conflict with the artists Series performance on F'eb. 14. The dance will be held at the Port Jackson Legion Lake Officers Club. Johnny Long's orchestra will provide the music. Final plans will be announced n next week's "Gamecocke."
