Seven students have recently
been subject to disciplinary action
by tho University, according to
Dean of Students Tomlin.
Three male students have been
put on probation for the remainder
of the time they are at the Univer
sity for selling books which were
stolen. The students maintain,
however, that they bought the
Ioks from someone whom they
can not identify now. These stu
dents will have to appear before
the newly established Men's Judi
vial Council for further action.
Another student has been sus
pended from the University for
re-selling a book which he stole
from the Russell House cafeteria.
Another has been suspended
after confessi)g to the robbery
and damage of another student's
Car, although he maintained that
it was done as a "prank." His two
accomplices have heen put on pro
hation for the remainder of their
college career.
Thievery is at a high point now,
and the Administration and student
judiciary will deal with future
cases with even greater severity.
