On April 11, 1961, a very unusual spectacle can be ob

The event is aptly named the "Little 500" and will be
sponsored by the Sigma Nu f'iatetnity. This inaugural
race is hoped to he the beginning of an annual affair
which is designed to evolve into a fund raising event for
worthv Columbia charities.
Originally set up for the Nmmnd Ilouse track, the raci
had to be moved to Davis Ficid because of cotitlictiing tracl
meets. Next. year. however, the race will be staged on tl<
track in mrdvr to accommodate what is hoped to be a good
size( clowd.
