Thirteen acts, ranging from bal
let to blues, will be presented in the
spring talent show Tuesday. April
11, at Drayton Hall.
The first rehearsal has been set
for A pril (; at 7:30 p.m. in Drayton
liall. Other rehearsals will he Sun
day, April 9. and Monday, April
10. at 7:30 in Drayton Hall.
The first place winner will re
ceive a $75 cash scholarship. Second
and third place prizes are $50 and
$25 cash scholarships, respectively.
Students will he admitted by ID
cards. Door prizes will he awarded

New Clinic
University students who wish to
increase their skills in reading and
study will be able to obtain assist
ance in a voluntary program be
ginning this month, according to Dr.
Paul C. Berg, director of the Read
ing Clinic in the School of Educa
tion.
This developmental reading pro
gram is a non-credit course which
will meet once a week and cover a
seven-week period. Any University
student may enroll without charge.
The only cost involved is the pur
chase of one book.
Tht. students selected for the
course will be those who demonstrate
a need for it on the basis of a
diagnostic reading examination. All
persons who wish to tak, the exam
inationI must register for it before
April 7 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
in Room 211, School of Education.
Classes will begin oi April 10.
