University Transfers Count 472 A total of 472 transfer stu dents, re)resenting 158 universi ties and colleges in the United States and abroad, were accepted at Carolina for the past semester. Dr. Rollin E.. Godfrey, director of admissions and registration, said .172 of the accepted transfer students actually registered in Sept. This was an increase of 20.7 per cent over the previous year. t The overall student body increase I was 11.3 per cent.
