St udents from our illustrious
University deep in the heart of
the magnolia and appleblossom
country will probably find it bene
ficial to use the above map in
finding their way to the world's
largest pasture, Memorial Sta
dium, the site of tomorrow's Car
olina-Clemson clash - the first
held at the Blue Ridge Barnyard.
Upon embarking from the sun
drenched heaven on Green Street
lower right hand corner), travel
ers should proceed due north, by
such famous landmarks of the
(Con federacy as the Opus, .Jack
Evans, and Mollie Lawson's Snow
IHall Stand in Chapin. This route
parallels the one followved by the
USC studlent train.
However, after reaching Plunk
itville, one wvill realize that he has
reached the point of no return.
Evidence of this is revealed by
the astounding number of Hoof
and1( Mout h D)isease quarantines
tacked on (loors and cess pool
lids in the vicinity of Clemson,
commonly cal led '"God's Country"
mainly beca use nobody else
would have it)!
