EIGHT SENIOR MEMBERS of I first two units will be playing against North Caroliu State to (left to right), top row: Tackle Intramural Golf Goes Into Finals For Fraternities "The University intramural golf program is now in the final stages of competition," according to Jim my Usher, s t u d e n t intramural representative. Matches are being played at Willow L, a k e s Golf Course, and have been in progress since November 1. According to local standards, e a c h fraternity squad is comprised of two men, and no substitutions may he made after the first round. In first round eliminations, Sig ma Nu was victorious over Chi Psi, Lambda Chi Alpha heat PiKA, Sigma Chi dowined SAE, Kappa Alpha knocked off Pi Kappa Phi, and Kappa Sigma rolled over Phi Epsilon Pi. SPE, Phi Sigma Kappa, and Phi Kappa Sigma drew first round byes. Only three matches were decided in second round playoffs, as Sig ma Nu downed SPE, Lambda Chi quelled Sigma Chi, and Phi Sigma Kappa overcame the KA's. Phi Kappa Sigma has met the Kappa Sigs twice this week, once in an 18-hole encounter and another in a 20-hole tilt, but both were called because of darkness. As Lambda Clii triump)hedl over Sigma Nu in the semi-finals, they will meet the winner of the Phi Kap-Kappa Sig contest for the fraternity championship and add i tional points in the race for the IFC All Sports Trophy. Ed Pitts Will Play In North-South Game On Christmas Day Ed Pitts, Gamecock Co-Captain and All-AGO tackle, will play in the North-South Shrine game at Miami, Florida, on Christmas.
