Castro's quartermaster corp. Legal Complaints The Kaue College coach com plained to the ACNE conference, using a legal argument pro pounded by Pierre Grantsin, a Frenchman. This argument - known in the sporting world as "The Grantsin aid"-was not uni versally recognized in the ACNE conference 'because five of the col leges had chosen Washington's birthday as the final date for using the Grantain aid, while the friendly geezer from SoCar U. said the argument was invalid after the Roman Saturnalian feast. The question of the Grantsin aid will probably be debated in the Supreme Court, Chief Justice T. MarRhall-reputedly a descendant of another Marshall of Supreme Court fame--presiding. Prize Winning PIy The play won for her in 1950 a $5,000 prize because it was "the play most likely to promote chris tian ideals in American living." "The Velvet Glove" describes a I most politely conducted battle. The ] opponents are a Mother-General and a Bishop, and their battlefield is a convent. They are at odds over i a young professor in the convent ! college whose Christian ideas about I the obligations of wealth seem ] radical to a few "moneybags" in the diocese. The "moneybags" want the professor fired and the Bishop whose causes they endow, naturally agrees.
