On Exhibit
An exhibition of modern book
illustrations is currently being
shdwn in Russell 11ouse on the
University. campus under the spon
sorship of- the Department of Fine
Arts, according. to 1rofessor Ed
mund Yaghjian, head of the de
partment. The exhibit will remain
on view through April 8, and the
pdblic is cordially invited.
The prints of book illustrations
are by a number of outstanding
artists and are for sale, at prices
ranging from $5 to $60.

The first will be held at the end
of April.
Dr. J. T. Penny, dean of men,
has given consent to have four
faculty, members present at such
discussions, during which time stu
dents may actively participate in
the talk.
The panel each time would con
sist of two faculty members who
are experts in the field which the
topic covers and two facu4y, mei.
bers who represent the layman's
view of the topic.
Student Union urges students
to plan to attend these discussions
and also urges them to suggest
topics for the discussions. Any
student may submit a topic at the
Russell House information desk.
The topics will be considered and
the topic for the discussion which
will be held this year will be an
nounced from this list.
Depending upon the success of
the initial discussion, Student
Union plans to continue the dis
cussions in future years and will
hold them at regular intervals and
at announced locations.
The administration is cooperat
ing wholeheartedly with Student
Union in the establishment of the
discussions in order to promote
better student-faculty relations
and give the two groups a chance
