Birds In TV' South Carolina's basketball Gamecocks make their sp pearance on television tomor row afternoon at 2 o'clock as they battle the national cham pion North Carolina Tar OHeels in Chapel Hill. The Birds, coached by Frank Johnson and victorious in their first two encounters with Georgia and Georgia Tech of the South eastern Conference, will be look ing for their third or possibly fourth win of the season (Note: Results of the N. C. State game were not available it press time) as they tackle the North Caro linians. Tar Heels Tops North Carolina, who are cur rently riding a crest of at least 84 wins against no losses, will be making their second straight ap pearance on regional TV in meet ing the Gamecocks. Last Satur day the Tar Heels swamped Clemson, 79-55. Carolina's Gamecocks can be seem tomorrow afternoon at 2 c o'clock over WIS-TV, Channel 10, in their ACC encounter with the University of North Caro. lina. This is the second in a series of 11 conference games I being carried over a regional network.
