T : E ter Dixie Classic The Carolina varsity debate team will travel to Winston Salem, N. C. Friday, Dec. 6, to participate in the Dixie Classic at Wake Forest College. Univer sity teams also are planning trips to tournaments at two other col leges, Debate M. G. Christophersen has announced. The varsity team which will represent Carolina at the Dixie Classic will consist of Fred Le Clerq, Henry Wengrow, Pete Martin, and Sam Freed. On the same week-end a team made up of Marty Price, Bill Able, Jill Ryon, and Gloria Hopper will visit Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone, N. C. for the Appalachian Mountain Forensic Tournament. Another debate team will rep resent Carolina at the Hall of Fame Debates at Columbia Uni versity Thursday through Satur day, Dec. 12-14. " " " The Euphradian Society The Euphradian Society will hear a series of initiatory ad dresses at 7 p.m. Tuesday from newly elected members to the so ciety, Scott Cain, publicity direc tor, has announced. All male students are invited to attend the session and smoker passing, a total offense of 409 yards for the season, and a two year career mark of 1,055 yards. State's Christy and Hunter hold a decided edge in yard-gain ing and touchdowns. Christy has amassed 547 yards on the ground and 24 by air for a 571 total offense. Hunter has gained 449 rushing and 47 passing for 496 yards. Christy has scored nine touchdowns, four of them on pass receiving, while Hunter has scored four touchdowns and passed for two others. Hunter has kicked ten extra points and his counterpart on the Gamecock team, Hawkins, has converted seven times. The game tomorrow will honor the fathers of Gamecock players and more than 10,000 Scouts will watch the ACC action. IC.
