By Pi Phi Pi Beta Phi sorority is winner of the bowling tournament spon sored by the Women's Athletic As sociation, announced Elizabeth Singletary, vice-president. Pi Phi had a total score of 971 for the three games bowled with three members on the team. A trophy will be awarded to Pi Phi at All Sports Award Day in May. Alpha Delta Pi placed second with a total score of 953 and Kappa Delta placed third with a score of 922. Lillian Whitner was high scorer of the tournament with a total score of 346. Six teams participated in the event. The other three teams, be sides the winners were Delta Zeta, Zeta Tau Alpha, and Delta Delta Delta. Next week practice for the bas ketball tournament will begin. Practice is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. in the University field house Thursday, Friday, and Monday and Tuesday of the following week. The tournament will begin after the Thanksgiving holidays and will be double elimination. The number of teams for the basketball tournament have not yet been announced, according to Miss Singletary. WAA also plans to have a swim ming, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, and tennis tournament.
