Phi Ka Senator Will Speak At Banquet The Alpha Eta chapter of Phi Kappa Sigma will celebrate their 27th anniversary at a formal dance in the Wade Hampton Hotel ball room tomorrow night from 9 to 12 p. m. Tony Torre and his orches tra will play for the event. Preceding the dance at 6:30 a banquet will be held in the ball *-oom. Senator Marshall Williams of Orangeburg will be the guest speaker. During the intermission before the dance there will be a floor show presented by the members of the fraternity. The show will include a chorus, chorus line, scenes from "Mr. Roberts," a dance by Gale and Cullen and a quartet. Officers of the chapter are C. Marshall Cain, president; Mickey Rasheed, social chairman; Mike Cory, rush chairman; N i c k Abrams, pledgemaster; D. C. Rhoden, recording secretary; Ted Ellis, treasurer; Preston Mus grave, corresponding secretary; Ed Bowan and Neil Blake, house managers. Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity was founded on October 19, 1850, at the University of Pennsylvania. The local chapter was established in March, 1929. There are 48 chapters in the United States and Canada with ap proximately 20,000 members. ATO Elects Officers Alpha T a u Omega recently elected officers for the spring se mester. Otis Etheredge succeeds Thomas H. Cooper of Columbia as president. * The other officers are Richard Horne, vice-president; Ed Powell, secretary; and Robert Norris treasurer.
