Movie Role
Julie co-stars with Laurence Har
vey and Shelley Winters, the dis
tinguished star is seen as a
provocatively sensuous and beau
tiful woman, desired by many
men.
Not only does she display an
excellent singing voice in this
delightful film comedy of man
ners and morals, but Julie also
dances in this role of a Berlin
nightclub performer.
In one scene she does a "mean"
continental tango, which bars
nothing, then she goes into a
Charleston routine in another se
quence, a toreador dance in a
third and finally, in the scene
where she is about to go abroad
with her playboy lover, she does a
hula dance to the accompaniment
of a Hawaiian phonograph record
ing.
"I Am A Camera," produced by
Romulus Films, was directed by
llIIen ry Cornelius andl is being re
leased by D)CA.
We lear'n from Wofford Col
