Tvhe Gminma Nu chapter of
Sigma CIhi will hold its semi-annual
formal Sweetheart Ball tonight in
the Jeffersoin Hotel Ballroom from
9:00 to 1:00. Music will be pro
vided by ( ;e1vrald Carrigan and his
orchestra.
Just, prior to intermission the
vcapter's choice of its Sweetheart
of Sigma ('li will be presented and
crowned. Other awards will be
mle and then all are invited to
a (:ampus-Wide Drop-In to be held
in the Jefferson's Rathskellar.
The Gamma Nu chapter received
its chiarter from Sigma Chi in
1929 and since then it, has grown
to its present day strength. Sigma
Clhi was founded at Miami Uni
versity, Oxford, Ohio, in 1855 and
all Sig-; throughout the world are
looking forward to the gala Cen
tennial celebratioll next year.

of its 83d chapter at North Texas
State College, Denton, Texas, on
F-ebruary 12-14, 1954.
Mrs. 11. E. Mueller of Evanston,
Illinois, National Chapterian, will
be the installing officer and will
initiate about 75 college women
and alumnae.
The new chapter will he pre
sented a loving cup from the other
