The South Carolina-Wake For
(-st football game is now "The
('arrousel Bowl" in Charlotte on
November 26, at 2:00 P.M. as a
part of the giant Carolinas' Car
rousel.
Early in 1947 a group of Char
lotte men sat around a luncheon
table and someone said, "Let's
organize an event for Charlotte,
and invite our neighbors to par
ticipate. For once, let's ask them
into Charlotte and not ask them
to buy." Thus the Carolinas' Car
rousel was born, which is today
the South's largest attraction as
far as parades are concerned.
