Housepartying at the Isle of Palms and Myrtle Beach were the Pi Kappa Phis. BILL LOGOTHETIS and PAT DuBOSE, HANK FULMER and SALLY LACER, "SUGAR" CHILES and FRANCES DuRANT, and Mr. and Mrs. KEITH KINARD had a fine time at the Isle of Palms while LANNY SHAY and BOBBIE WARD, ADPi, CLAY TON McMANAWAY and SISTIE EDWARDS, Chi 0, were among those who preferred Myrtle Beach. Also at the Isle of Palms (must have seemed like old home week) were SISTIE EDWARDS, ANNE KING, SALLY YOUNGBLOOD, Chi O's; TOLLY POLLARD, BET WEAT11 ERLY, CAROL ELIOT, VERNA NORTON, LUCY ROGERS, and BETTY YOUNG. Gathering at Pawleys Island for a few days during the holidays were KAs and their dates. Seems a very good time was had by MARION BROWN and EVELYN MARSHALL, Tri-Delt, SAM WATSON and WINKLE MOSELEY, Tri-Delt, LEWIS HOWELL and MARY BETH CONRAD, KD, "TOT TIE" WILLIAMS and MARY FRANCES MAYOR, BEN SAWYER and G. B. KENNEDY, Tri-Delt, and TERRELL GLENN and LOUISE OWENS, KD. Alum CHERRY STRIB LING was also present. Other KAs housepartied at Myrtle Beach. Among these were BILLY WATSON and SALLY JUDY, KD, EDDY STUBBS and LOLA BROOKS. Over the holidays ROS LEVY, Delta Zeta, visited Alpha Delta Chapter of Delta Zeta at George Washington Univer sity in Washington. BOB DuPRE, Pi Kappa Phi, traveled down to Silver Springs, Fla., during the holidays. On Sunday, March 29, the Zetas held a drop-in in honor of their new pledges. Some of those attending were MACK IIALFORD, 1D, NEULAND COLLIER, Sigma Nu, ANN LUMPKIN, Tri Delt, SAM HILBORN, Sigma Chi, FRANK MALONE and RONALD TARTE, Lambda Chis, and JANE HOOK. Phi Sigs recently entertained their national president. Among those who attended the Military Ball at Clemson before the holidays were NANCY MOORHEAD. Pi Phi, KITTY PARKER, MICKEY NEUTON, SHIRLEY KELLY, and LETTY JOHNSON. Congratulations to the Chi Os who celebrated their twenty-fifth anniversary on campus and Founders Day on April 8. That night a reception was held for their parents at the Woman's Club. Florida seems to have been a popular spot during Easter holidays. TOM TEMPLE, SAE, journeyed to Daytona; KATIE PARSONS, ZTA, enjoyed sunning in Miami while ANN FULLERTON, ZTA, spent her vacation in Daytona. And I can't imagine why LARRY LANDRUM, Lambda Chi, was doing a rain dance last Friday ? Married during the holidays were MARY LOUIS BLACK WELL, KI), and DUNCAN BRECKENRIDGE, KA; MAR LENE AYERS, ZTA, and BOBBY ASH1BY, former Carolina student, and JOYCE ENRIGTiT, chi 0, and HARRY VAUGHN of Clemson. Congratulations to you all. On the week end before Easter the Kappa Alphas held their annual Old South Ball. KAs from all over the state and their dates began festivities on the cap)itol grounds with the succession. This was followed by a mint julip p)arty at the Woman's Club. That night a banquet andl (lance was held at the Jefferson Hotel. Music was furnished by WOOD)Y WOOl) WARD and his orchestra. I have yet to find out who attended the Sigma ('hi house party at Ocean D)rive. Anyway, I'm sure they had a fine time.
