Seems like I almost started an intra-fraternity brawl last
week when I announced PiKA RUDY LEE's girl, KATH
ERINE NICOLL was engaged to fraternity brother ERIC
LINDEN. The real story is that RUDY and KATHERINE
are engaged. My apologies to you both.
Another Pi Phi who attended The Citadel Hop last week
end was MARTHA WOODALL. She was the guest of ROB
ERT MOMIER of Charleston.

Military Ball
To Climax
Eventful Day
The 1953 Air Force ROTC Mili
tary Ball will be held April 10
in the Township Auditorium. The
dance will climax an eventful day
for ROTC members.
At the dance, the Honorary
Cadet Colonel will be announced.
Ralph Marterie and his orchestra
will furnish music.
J. Macfie Anderson, mayor of
the city of Columbia, has pro
claimed April 10 as "Air* Force
ROTC Day," Eugene Brantley,
chairman for tee Military Ball,
has announced.
At 10 a.m., a dIress parade will
be conducted. The review stand
will include Governor James F.
Byrnes, Mayor Anderson and city
officials, President Donald Rus
sell, and many military officials.
Members of the units are inviting
their parents as guests 'for the
day. The entire USC student body
and all parents will be guests in
the bleachers during the dress
parade andl will be given pro.

At 2:30 p.m. there will be a
parade in dlowntown Columbia by
the entire Air Force cadet corps
All dignitaries will lead the
parade in convertibles with a
police escort. The sponsors will

Open house will be held at
Barnwell College at 4:30. All
parents, student body members
and guests are invited to attend
and view the new building facil
ities.

Dance April 11
The Hillel Society will hold its
annual semi-formal (lance at the
ballroom of the Jefferson Hotel
April 11. Leah Aberman and
Francine Altman, co-chairman of
the dance committee have an
