Spring must be on Its way say
Kocky after seeing the Lambd
Chis in their front yard diligently
cleaning their furniture. These
guys are murder with a box ol
DUZ.
Seems the president's house ia
near completion. Myl Won't Mrs
Russell have fun with all those
venetian blinds.
Kocky noticed the sign on Le
Conte that says, "Dates must
register here." All right, boys,
you heard the man.
Benjamin Franklin Grainger
(alias Willis) was seen on the
horse shoe munching a loaf of
French bread.
Koeky would like to know who
was the lone golfer hitting balls
into the SAE house. He didn't yell
fore.
Kocky was astounded upon hear
ing that reasonably sane members
of the Christian Service Club,
Johann Mishoe and Mike King
horn. journeyed to the Carolina
Orphans Home and showed films
only to learn that they showed the
films to the wrong orphans. They
should have gone to the Richland
County Children's Home.
Over at LeConte one of Kocky's
best friends, Valentino, has just
taken the beating of his life.
Valentino, the skeleton in 212, has
been torn to pieces by vicious
students like Gus Manos.
Kocky is all agog over having
campus political parties. They
could have symbols like the Game
cock's tail feathers or the Palmetto
trees. Myl what stickers.
Koeky heard the Sigma Phi Eps
complaining about the lock on
Euphradian Hall; it seems that
after paying $1.00 rent for the
joint the Sigma Phi Eps expected
to get in the joint, too.
Kocky saw the notices for rush
week-comment: somebody bring
a wheel barrow for the Greeks
(sororities, that is.)
Bye now, Kocky and his pal?
Ros Levy (posthumously).

W FOR SPRING
There is something afoot this
spring to bring you complete oog
tume coordination, so important
to the weU-groomed look smart
women strive to attain.
Shoe manufacturers have worked
most diligently with the apparel
and fabric houses to have fashion
right shoes that compliment your
spring ensembles.
Patent leather is unquestionably
spring's highlight footnote because
of the tremendous importance of
black and white fabrics, either as
a color duet or in prints, and be
cause patent also is fashion en
dorsed as the Number One acces
sory answer for grey and the soft
beige range, and every pastel that
runs the gamut from light to
bright shock colors--this means
every wardrobe needs a pair of
scintillating patent shoes.
Red shoes are considered a
neutral this spring. They add a
gay touch to grey-beige-navy and
are considered good companies to
pink and yellow apparel. In fact,
they go with every color in the
spring rainbow except orange.
Trimmed pumps are high fashion
this spring. They are simple
enough to accompany a suit, yet
wearable with softer appearing
dresses. Stroke-of-genius colors
add a touch of elegance to patent
of calf pumps.
Low dipping dainty shells and
bands of enchantment for all those
special occasions. Soft feather
light little shoes in which you will
literally want to live. Medium
heels that are the last word in
comfort, yet are as glamorous as
the towering spike. That's the
foot note for spring, 1963.
