Cop Intramural
The NROTC and Pi Kappa Phi
softball teams are the co-cham
pions in the intramural softball
program. A campus championship
game will not be held because of
the late date of the finish of the
season.
The NROTC softballers won over
McBride 9-0, to clinch the Inde
pendent league championship,
while the Pi Kaps had to go eight
innings before they could get by
Phi Sigma Kappa, 4-2.
McBride qualified for the big
game with the NROTC when they
defeated Preston 2nd, and the
NRO's defeated ASCE in the semi
finals. Phi Sigma Kappa, in the
Fraternity League II, defeated
Sigma Chi in a playoff game for
second place, and then went on to
defeat Sigma Nu in the first round
of the playoffs, before losing in the
finals.
