The purpose of the Omicron
Delta Kappa society is threefold:
First, to recognize the men who
have attained a high standard of i
efficiency in collegiate activities
and to inspire others to strive for
conspicuous attainments along
similar lines; Second, to bring to
gether the most representative
men in all phases of collegiate life
and thus to create an organization
which will help to mold the senti
ment of the institution on ques
tions of local and intercollegiate
interest; Third, to bring together
members of the faculty and student I
body of the institution on a basis
of mutual interest and under
standing.

house April 20, is one of the na
tion's foremost authorities on the i
training of pre-adolescent boys'
voices.
In 1937 Cooper was guest of the
famous Vignna Boys' Choir at
Castle Wilhelminenberg in Aus
tria. There he learned the train
ing of boys' voices. He has also
studied with various teachers in
America and Europe.
The choir was organized by
Cooper in 1935. The membership
consists of 23 boys ranging in age
from 9 to 14 years. Because Cooper
uses only unchanged voices, he
must be constantly alert for new
talent which he acquires through
competitive auditions.
