Christian Youth
Group On Campus
A meeting of the Cooperative
Christian Youth of South Caro
lina was held Saturday and Sun
day at the Baptist Student Center
in Columbia.
The CCYSC, an organization for
all denominations, elected Fred
Sosnowski to the office of fourth
vice-president to fill a vacancy
that occurred during the summer.
Two projects have been decided
upon by the group: a writing pro
gram to be used by denominational
a n d local interdenominatioial
groups, and the listing of the
names of speakers of the various
denominations according to their
fields and topics, along with their
available dates.
Any denomination or group wish
ing this information may write the
central office which will be set up
at Clemson.
The next meeting of the CCYSC
will be held in February probably
in Charleston, under the leader
ship of James Cushman.

The following point system was drawn up by Alpha
Kappa Gamma, women's leadership fraternity, which, with
the aid of Mrs. Arney Childs, dean of women, will enforce it.
Under the system, no coed may hold more than 40
points. No coed may hold two 20-point offices. The purpose
of the system is to more evenly distribute campus offices
held by women students.
