Granger, Bobby Case, Fred Locke, and Willie Willoughby,
are off to the iaces. By that we mean the 200-mile national
championship motorcycle race held every spring at the
famous city. All four of you boys entering?
BYE I BYE! WAUCHOPE HOUSE! Pi Phi's are moving
into Sims College next week. Wauchope House, known cam
pus-wide as the Pi Phi house, will no longer be used as a
dormitory, Mrs. Arney R. Childs, dean of women, said. The
room to be occupied as a sorority room was formally used by
the Alpha Epsilon Phi, national Jewish sorority, no longer
active on campus. Sorry we haven't learned the new phone
number yet, boys. Hope you like Sims.
FREDDA PAULIE of Greenville was pledged to Kappa
Delta last night. She is a transfer from Coker.
GUESTS OF CADETS! Now that sounds like fun! Belle
Martin was guest of Cadet Bob Peterson 'and Pat Waring

Jo Ann Dellinger, senior from
Greenville, will play the title role
in the University Theatre's produc
tion of "Antigone," February 24,
before members from the South
eastern district of Alpha Psi
Omega. Miss Dellinger is well
remembered for her performance
in "Uncle Dudley" and many other
University Theatre productions.
Others in the cast are Carl
Vines, who played the devil in
"The Scarecrow," as Creon; Mary
Hilliard (Nancy in "Gaslight") as
Ismene; Buddy Long ("The Scare
crow" and "Gaslight") as Haeman;
and Caroline Dabbs as the nurse.
A new-comer, John Long, will
play the part of the Chorus, and
Jim Reagan will be disguised as
a messenger. Guards will be por
trayed by Mort Bernanke, Harvey
Golden, and John Chamberlain.
