Intramura With 22 C By BILL KAUFMAN Intfamural football got off to a flying start this week with 22 games being played in five leagues. Sigma Chi, last year's fraternity champs, proved that they are again the team to be reckoned with as they routed Phi Sigma Kappa, 28-0. Tenements 2&3, champions of the Independent loops last year de fended their crown successfully in their first game by rolling over ROTC. In Fraternity league No. 1 Lamb da Chi Alpha won a close game from Kappa Sigma. Alpha Tau Omega took a 12-6 thriller from Phi Kappa Sigma. Kappa Alpha rolled over Phi Kappa Sigma by a acore of 46-0. Lambda Chi Alpha defeated P1 Kappa Alpha, 27-0, and Sigma Nu edged Alpha Tau Omega 7-0. In Fraternity League No. 2 Pi Kappa Phi beat Lambda Chi 7-0, Sigma Alpha Epsilon took Phi Epsilon Phi 21-0, SAE won its second game downing Pi Kappa Phi 26-0 and Sigma Chi won from Phi Sigma Kappa 28-0. In Independent League No. 1 the Dukes beat Maxey Third by a 13-6 count, Preston Third East whipped Town Boys 20-0, Tenement 29 took the Duken 13-0 and Tene ments 19&20 received a forfeit from the Town Boys. In Independent League No. 2 the ROTC won one and lost one. The Navy team fell before Tene ments 2&3 and then eased by Pres ton Third West 13-6. Preston Third West had previously defeated Carovets 27-0 a few days before. The Legal Eagles and Tenement 24% played to a 6-6 deadlock in thP lpague's other game. In Independent League No. 3 Tenement 30 scored a 19-0 win over Tenement 1. ASME won two games, beating BSU 19-6 and downing Tenement 30, 27-2. Tene ment 1 defeated Tenement 5, 14-7, and BSU won a forfeit from the Freshman Y.
