Frsh DowU Clems Here November 18 By TOM PRICE Capitalizing on Clemson Cub fumbles, the Carolina Biddies struck for two quick touchdowns in the first four minutes and 42 seconds, and went on from there to defeat the Cubs 27-20 last Wednes day night in the annual Clemson Carolina frosh struggle and pre view to the big event which fol lowed Thursday afternoon at Caro lina Stadium. It was the brilliant running of the Biddie backs, led by the flashy Hootie Johnson, teaming with a big aggressive line against the Cubs' smooth passing duet of the left handed Forrest Calvert and the right handed Hubert. A pair of twins, Charles and Billy Radcliffe, played good ball through9ut the contest in the Cub backfield. Later in the secor period, with the ball on the Bidd four yard line, Hostetler plungc through the Clemson line, straigh ened up and sprinted 81 yards . the Cub 15 before being haulc down from behind.
