'Knit, Puri, Knit'
And 'Silent Night'
Vie For Attention
By JANE DOWE
Feature Editor
"Knit, purl-knit, purl." These
words are as much a part of this
pre-Christmas season as "Silent
Night." Every Jill is knitting
socks for her Joe, and, as the time
draws near, lessons are being
neglected for the supreme duty.
Sud<*%nly the campus has be
come a blaze of bright lights, just
as dormitory rooms are gay with
newly-wrapped packages a n d
lighted red candles. There's a
song in the air--a song of Christ
mas.
So, a happy holiday, all ye fel
low students--and may Santa
bring you your heart's deaire, even
if it be only "your two front
