A former edutcator of the uni
versity listed five ways to better
conditions. lie would place more
emphasis in getting and keeping a
better faculty and avoid losing
younger faculty members by pro
viding more attractive salaries.
"A better library is needed and
more money should be spent for
books and additions made every
year so as to plug up library col
lection gaps in all departments.
"Better and more housing facili
ties and better eating facilities for
women students are needed. The
timid attitude that the university
now has regarding controversial
issues should be done away with,"
he added.
