Lambd Short Story Contest Rules Are Announced Laura Speed, president of Eu phrosynean Literary Society, has announced rules for the society's short story contest, 1. Entries must be turned over to Dot McLeod, secretary, or to Laura Speed, president, not later than May 15, 1948. 2. Only members of Euphrosy nean Literary Society are eligible to submit stories. 3. The short story must have never been published. (Publication in the Carolina Review would make a story ineligible for this con test.) 4. The author's name must ap pear only on the cover with the title. The title must also be on the first page of the story. 6. Each entry must be typed and doubled-spaced. 6. A member of the Literary So ciety may submit as many entries as she wishes. 7. The story may be any length the author chooses. 8. The award will be a silver tray, engraved with "Presented to .. .. .... Eu phrosynean Short Story Contest, 1948."
