In Field House Kramer-R Pails And Segura Play Preliminary Beginning At 8 p.m. Jack lramer, retired world's amateur tennis champion, and Bobby Riggs, world's professional titleholder, will play a match in the Carolina field house tonight. Dinny Pails, Australian champ, will meet Pancho Segura, top South American player, in a pre liminary beginning at 8 p. n. The four will play a doubles match to conclude the program. Through Tuesday, Kramer and Riggs had played 47 niatches, 31 of them going to Kramer, who turned professional last fall. The tour will take in 75 American cities and many foreign countries and continents, including India, Australia, South Africa, Europe and others. The match is sponsored here by the YMCA and Delta Sigma Pi Commerce fraternity, proceeds to be divided by those groups. Tic kets will be on sale at the box office for $2, reserved seats, an $1.2,, general admission. The Kramer-Riggs tour has been received by greater enthusiasm than any tennis series in history, 230,000 persons having paid to see the two champions perform thus far. It is estimated that Kramer, who was guaranteed $50, 000 in the tour, will receive $110, 000 to $125,000 by the end of the series. Three fighters in the heavier weights provided most of the points for the Gamecocks with Bill "Killer" Rutledge's 59 second, first round knockout over Bill Eckert proving to be the most outstanding. James "Red" Douglas and Jim Briggman also won decisions while Captain Ray Avant fought to a draw with LSU's Gabe Jumon ville. The Gamecock's Fletcher Dean lost by TKO to Buddy Bourgeois in the thir'd round of the only fight that did not last the sched uled distance.
